You’re Not the Only One Praying

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. John 17:20-21 NIV

Jesus is praying for you. He is also praying for those who believe in him because you shared God’s love with them. Isn’t that something a new believer would love to know. And he keeps praying for each new generation of believers. He is praying that we would be united, that the body of Christ would be one, just as Jesus and his Father are one.
