Forwhatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that hasovercome the world–our faith.  Who isthe one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son ofGod? 1John 5:4-5 NASB
 
 

Did youever notice the question mark at the end of verse 5?  No, it’s not questioning if the believer inJesus is an overcomer.  It’s a rhetoricalquestion, answering itself.  Anexclamation point would do just as well there. You have the power through faith in Jesus Christ to overcome the world.  Stand strong in the faith, be an overcomer!
