How can You Please God?

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Why do we need faith to please God? Isn’t God pleased by what we do and what’s in our hearts? If you believe that God is real, that you trust him with your eternity, you do it without seeing God. You trust in the evidence you see around you, in the lives of people attributing God touching them. This trust if based on faith in God. Without it you would say this was all coincidences and not attributable to something you don’t believe exists. It is clear you need faith to believe God is real, and thus you can’t please God without faith that he exists.
