Governing Authorities and You

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Romans 13:1
About half the country is upset and the other half is over joyed at the apparent outcome of the Presidential election. No matter which side you fall into, realize what our verse for today says. The officials that exist are established by God. Our faith is truly put to the test if you are upset at the election results. It will be hard for half of you, but if you trust in God’s Word, you can have peace after each election knowing that God is still in control. Regardless of who the President, or Governor, or Mayor, or HOA president is, God’s command for us is still: Love God, Love Others. Let’s focus on that.
