Day 8 of Advent
“Glory to God in the highest [heaven], And on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased.” When the angels had gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds began saying one to another, “Let us go straight to Bethlehem, and see this [wonderful] thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us.” Luke 2:14-15 AMP
I can’t even begin to imagine what a sight that was the night the angels visited the shepherds. To see them and hear their proclamation must’ve been like no other wordly experience. And the Word tells us the shepherds went straight to Bethlehem.
How many times in our lives does God promise something, and we just sit back and wait? I encourage you this season of expectancy to act, to chase after God’s promises, to share with others the things God does for you both little and big. I encourage you to take time to search His word for his promises for you and your current situation. He won’t disappoint.
