See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1
Stop! Look! Behold what has happened. Take time to SEE what a great love God has lavished on us. Not on everyone, but on those who believe in Jesus, in the gospel message. Can you comprehend it? He could have stopped there. His love is enough, but he calls us his children. Children of God. Some earthly families provide a big advantage in life to their children, just because they are their children. How much more so are you who believe and are now called children of God.
