Celebrating the New Creation in Christ

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
In Christ the old self, the heart held in bondage to sin dies. In Christ the new self, a new heart learning to trust in God is created. There is joy when a new person trusts in Jesus as Lord and Savior. That joy on earth is only a shadow, a small percentage of the heavenly celebration going on when a soul passes from old to new, from death to life.
