Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you. Exodus 25:9 See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain. Exodus 25:40 Set up the tabernacle according to the plan shown you on the mountain. Exodus 26:30
Moses repeatedly received this instruction from the Lord. Moses did not come down Mount Sinai with a blue print or other drawing/plan for the tabernacle. Moses does not specify how the plans were transmitted to him; was it a vision, was he transfigured into heaven to see the sanctuary in heaven spoken of in Hebrews 8. The sanctuary on earth is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. We know the finished work was inspected by Moses and he saw that it was done just as the Lord commanded. In order for Moses to complete the plans God gave him he had to communicate the plans the Lord gave him to the craftsmen. The lessons he learned about delegating helped him complete his assignment from the Lord. Today’s leaders need to clearly communicate the vision God has given them and delegate the work in order for the vision to be completed as the Lord commanded.
