All Their Might
David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah (Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim–the ark that is called by the Name. They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it. David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, timbrels, cymbals and trumpets. 1 Chronicles 13:6-8
King David wants to bring the ark of covenant to Jerusalem. While their attempt ends badly because they transported the ark on a cart instead of being carried on poles by the Levites, the celebration was unlike any celebration. He scripture says David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God. Have you ever celebrated God with all your might? Dancing, singing, praising, not in an uncontrolled frenzy, but in a passionate, spirit filled celebration. Now do that with all the people around you. You may have glimpse of what heaven will be like.
