Day 2: The Weariness of Trying to Figure It Out

Agur starts with raw honesty: I am weary. I am worn out. There is a weariness that comes from trying to figure out what only God knows. We exhaust ourselves running scenarios, searching for answers, and trying to control outcomes. But God is not asking you to have it all figured out. He is asking you to trust Him with what you cannot see. Honesty with God about your weariness is not a lack of faith — it is the beginning of real faith. You cannot receive His peace while you are still trying to carry the weight of figuring everything out.
