Day 6: More Than Conquerors

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Romans 8:37-39 (NIV)

Romans 8:37-39

Paul uses a Greek phrase that means hyper-conquerors — not just winning, but overwhelming victory. And this victory is not based on your strength. It is through Him who loved us. Nothing can separate you from His love. Not your failures. Not your insecurities. Not what people say about you. Not even your own doubts. You cannot make God stop loving you. That is where your true confidence comes from.

Prayer

Father, nothing can separate me from Your love. Not my worst day, not my biggest failure, not my deepest insecurity. Help me live in that confidence today.
