Paul says God chose you before He created the world. Before the stars were hung. Before the oceans were formed. Before you took your first breath or made your first mistake — God chose you. And He did not choose you because of what you would do for Him. He chose you in love. Your worth is not earned. It is given. It was given before time began.
God, it is hard to believe that You chose me before the foundation of the world. Help me rest in the truth that my worth was settled before I ever did anything right or wrong.
