Day 4: "Speak Out! Don't Be Silent!"

Why Does Fear Stop Me? · With Authority · September 19, 2026

Scripture
One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't be silent!" — Acts 18:9 (NLT)
Acts 18:9

Paul is in Corinth, a city full of opposition, and the Lord speaks to him directly: "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't be silent!" Do not let fear stop your obedience. "Speak out!" is an ongoing command — Jesus is telling Paul not to say one brave thing once, but to continue speaking and refuse silence. Jesus does not need you to feel powerful. He needs you to stay connected to Him and obey what He says. Is there someone you have been wanting to speak to about Jesus? Tonight, or this week, say yes to the command: Speak out.

Prayer

Jesus, I hear Your command: don't be afraid, speak out, don't be silent. Show me where to speak and give me what to say — today and every day.
