Day 7: Blessed Are the Peacemakers

Jesus does not say blessed are the peacekeepers. He says peacemakers. Keeping peace is passive — you avoid conflict to keep things calm. Making peace is active — you walk into conflict with grace and truth to bring real resolution. Peacemakers reflect the character of God because that is exactly what God did in Christ. He made peace between us and Himself through the cross. As His children, we are called to do the same in our relationships, our families, and our communities.
