Moses spoke these words to Israel when they were trapped between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army. They had no way out. And Moses said be still — the same Hebrew word raphah we saw earlier. Let go. Stop striving. The Lord will fight for you. Peace often requires us to stop trying to be our own savior. You do not have to fix everything. You do not have to have a plan for every scenario. You just have to be still and let God be God.
God, I stop striving. I stop trying to figure everything out. I trust You to fight for me while I rest in You.
