Day 1: Peace Through Obedience

This proverb is remarkable. It says God can change the hearts of people who oppose you. But the key is your way pleasing the Lord first. We often want peace in our relationships before we are willing to deal with our own hearts. But God says start with your obedience, and He will handle the rest. You cannot control how other people act toward you, but you can walk in a way that pleases God. And when you do, He goes to work on your behalf.
