Why Am I So Overwhelmed? · Living With Wisdom · June 13, 2026
Paul writes this from a Roman prison. If anyone had a reason to be anxious, it was him. But he says do not be anxious about anything. That is not a command to pretend you are fine — it is an invitation to trade your anxiety for prayer. Every worry becomes a prayer request. Every fear becomes a petition. And the peace of God, which does not make sense given your circumstances, will guard your heart and mind like a soldier standing watch.
Lord, I bring every worry to You right now. I trade my anxiety for prayer and trust that Your peace will stand guard over my heart.
