Day 7: One Generation From Extinction

Who Is Driving My Life? · With Authority · September 12, 2026

Scripture
You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. — 2 Timothy 2:2 (NLT)
2 Timothy 2:2

Christianity is, and has always been, one generation from extinction. The faith is always one handoff away from either being passed on or lost. Paul understood this — he told Timothy to take the truths he had received and teach them to trustworthy people who would pass them on to others. That is discipleship: receiving the faith and giving it away. The people around you need you to bring them Jesus. As you prepare for tomorrow, identify who you need to be discipling — and start. You don't have to have it all together, because the authority is not in you; it is in Jesus. Pray the prayer from this week's message and let it become your rhythm: "Jesus, point out who You are sending me to disciple, and give me the words to say."

Prayer

Jesus, point out who You are sending me to disciple, and give me the words to say. Use me to carry Your Kingdom to the people around me — starting this week.
