Day 7: Sealed by the Spirit

What Is the Holy Spirit? · With One Another · May 23, 2026

Scripture
When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession — to the praise of his glory. — Ephesians 1:13-14 (NIV)
Ephesians 1:13-14

When you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit. A seal is a mark of ownership and a guarantee. The Spirit is God's deposit in your life — a down payment that guarantees your future inheritance. Your salvation is not fragile. It is secured by the presence of the Spirit living in you. You are God's possession. And He does not lose what belongs to Him.

Prayer

Father, thank You for sealing me with Your Spirit. Help me live today with the confidence that I belong to You and my future is secure.
