Day 2: The Spirit of Truth

Scripture

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. — John 16:13 (NIV)

John 16:13

The Spirit is called the Spirit of truth. His job is to guide us into truth. In a world full of conflicting voices, opinions, and narratives, the Spirit leads us to what is true. He does not shout. He does not compete for attention. He leads gently, consistently, faithfully. The more you spend time in God's Word, the more you recognize His voice.

Prayer

Spirit of truth, guide me into all truth. Help me discern Your voice from all the other voices competing for my attention.
