Day 6: Plans for Good, Future and Hope

What Am I Doing With My Life? · With Purpose · November 1, 2026

Scripture
This is what the Lord says: You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. — Jeremiah 29:10-11 (NLT)
Jeremiah 29:10-11

This promise was given to an exiled community facing a long wait, and prophetically to every human living on earth waiting for Heaven. Seventy years is a lifetime — God was asking them to be faithful for the long haul, trusting His good plans. The enemy tries to convince you about what your life should be and make you forget why, leaving you in empty routine. God says: I know the plans. They are good. Hold on to future and hope.

Prayer

Lord, I trust Your plans for me are good. When I’m tempted to compare my life to what it ‘should’ be, anchor me in Your future and hope.
