Day 6: The Harvest Is Great

Scripture

He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” — Matthew 9:37-38 (NLT)

Matthew 9:37-38

Jesus moves the disciples from observing the crowd to praying for workers. Look around — there is so much work, we need help, pray for people to step up and help. Prayer is the bridge between seeing and sending. Before God sends you, He invites you to pray. Who is one person you have been overlooking that Jesus wants you to notice? Start by praying for them by name today.

Prayer

Lord of the harvest, I see the need and I pray for workers. Start with me — send me, and show me the one person You want me to notice and pray for by name.
