Day 5: Clothe Yourselves with Compassion

The moment we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior is the moment we choose to worship and serve our King by loving Him and loving people. Paul says to clothe yourselves — compassion is something you put on every morning like a garment. It can be hard to step out to help people, but getting compassion starts with a simple prayer, then practical steps: listening, learning someone's name, making time for a need you would normally overlook.
