Day 2: Scattered Without a Shepherd

Use What He's Giving You · Special Messages · October 25, 2026

Scripture
You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty. So my sheep have been scattered without a shepherd, and they are easy prey for any wild animal. They have wandered through all the mountains and all the hills, across the face of the earth, yet no one has gone to search for them. — Ezekiel 34:4-6 (NLT)
Ezekiel 34:4-6

The Bible is clear that people without Jesus our Shepherd are easy targets. Without care for the weak, the sick, the injured, and the wandering, sheep scatter and become prey. God notices when no one goes to search for them. We are the hands and feet and voice of Jesus to those people around us. How are you serving Jesus by helping, loving, and talking with the lost sheep He cares for?

Prayer

Lord, break my heart for people who are scattered and unprotected. Use my hands, my feet, and my voice to bring Your care to someone who feels lost today.
