Day 1: See What They Are Carrying

Scripture

Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. — Matthew 9:35-36 (NLT)

Matthew 9:35-36

Jesus is traveling through Galilee teaching, proclaiming, and healing — and He sees more than a crowd. He sees their condition: confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. We encounter people every day, but we do not always see what they are carrying. Today, ask the question from this message: are you seeing beyond what someone is saying or wearing? Ask Jesus to show you the people around you the way He sees them.

Prayer

Jesus, open my eyes to see the people around me the way You see them. Show me what they are carrying, and teach me to see beyond behavior to need.
