Day 7: Called to Carry

The People Who Carried Us · With One Another · May 9, 2026

Scripture
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. — Galatians 6:2-3 (NIV)
Galatians 6:2-3

Paul connects carrying burdens with humility. If you think you are too important to carry someone else's burden, you are deceiving yourself. None of us is above serving. None of us is too busy to help. And here is the truth: one day, you will be the one who needs carrying. The people you carry today might be the ones who carry you tomorrow. That is how the family of God works.

Prayer

Lord, give me a servant's heart. Help me carry others with joy, knowing that one day I will need to be carried too.
