The text says 'their faith' — plural. Not the paralytic's faith, but the faith of his four friends. Jesus responded to the faith of the community. This is a powerful truth: your faith can benefit someone else. Your prayers can carry someone who cannot pray. Your belief can sustain someone who is doubting. Never underestimate what your faith can do for someone else.
Lord, let my faith be strong enough to carry others. When those around me are weak, let my belief make a difference in their lives.
