Day 3: Creative Faith

Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. — Mark 2:3-4 (NIV)

When the crowd blocked the door, the four friends did not give up. They found another way. They went through the roof. They were creative because they were determined. Real love finds a way. If your friend is stuck and you cannot reach them through normal channels, do not give up. Pray harder. Get help. Find another way. Love does not stop at closed doors.

Prayer

Father, give me creative faith that refuses to give up on the people I love. When the door is blocked, help me find the roof.
