Day 4: Carried by Community

Not Meant to Walk Alone · With One Another · April 25, 2026

Scripture
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. — Acts 2:42, 44, 46-47 (NIV)
Acts 2:42-47

The early church did not just attend services — they lived life together. Devoted to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer. They met in homes, shared meals, and sold possessions to meet needs. This is not a program — this is a family. There is a reason the Lord added to their number daily. People were drawn to what they saw. A community that genuinely loves each other is the most attractive thing in the world.

Prayer

Lord, let my church be known not by its building or programs, but by the way we love one another.
