Not Meant to Walk Alone · With One Another · April 25, 2026
This proverb is strong. Solomon says the person who isolates himself is not just lonely — he is actively pursuing his own desires and rejecting sound judgment. When we pull away from community, we lose perspective. We start believing our own version of things. We make decisions without counsel. We justify things we would not if we were accountable. Isolation does not just feel bad — it is dangerous. If you find yourself pulling away, that is the moment you need community the most.
Jesus, when I want to isolate, help me see it for what it is. Give me the humility to stay connected even when I want to run.
