God does not always show us the whole road. Sometimes He gives us enough light for the next step. A lamp in Bible times was not like a modern spotlight. It was not headlights on a car. It was a small oil lamp. It gave enough light to see the step in front of you. That matters because sometimes we want God to show us the whole journey.
Lord, thank You that You don't overwhelm me with everything at once. Give me enough light for each step I need to take today.
