Day 2: Wisdom Is Obedience

Scripture

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will make straight your paths. — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

Proverbs 3:5-6

Solomon received wisdom from God, but later in life, he made decisions that pulled his heart away from God. Wisdom is not just information. Wisdom has to be obeyed. Do not let panic make your decisions. Do not let fear make you act without thinking about whether it honors God.

Prayer

Father, forgive me for treating wisdom like information rather than obedience. Help me choose Your will in all I do, even when the path isn't clear.
