“Everyone is looking for you!” That sentence describes modern life. Everyone needs something, every notification feels urgent, every demand arrives marked now. But notice what Jesus does: He does not let demand set His direction. He gets up before daybreak, prays in an isolated place, and returns to the mission the Father gave Him. Jesus was available, but He was not controlled by everyone else’s urgency. If anyone had the right to say yes to every need, it was Him — and even He did not.
Father, before the demands find me tomorrow, let me find You first. Teach me to be available without being controlled, and to let mission — not pressure — set my direction.
