God Is With Us in the Storm · God Is With Us · March 7, 2026
The storm was furious. The waves were breaking over the boat. It was nearly swamped. And Jesus was asleep. He was not worried. He was not pacing the deck. He was at rest. That is not because He did not care. It is because He knew who He was and who the Father was. He trusted completely. His rest in the storm is an invitation for you. You can rest in the middle of your storm too — not because the storm is not real, but because the One in your boat is greater than the storm.
Jesus, teach me to rest in You even when the storm is raging. You are not worried, and I do not need to be either.
