Day 6: Strength in Community

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV)

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Solomon tells us that two are better than one. Not because two can do more work, but because when one falls, the other can help them up. This is weakness in community. You were not meant to be strong alone. You were meant to have someone who can pick you up when you fall. And you were meant to be that someone for others. Your weakness is not just something to bring to God — it is something to share with trusted friends.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the people You have placed in my life. Give me the humility to let them help me up and the love to help them up too.
