Day 2: Grace for Today

Scripture

But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

2 Corinthians 12:9

My grace is sufficient. Not was. Not will be. Is. Present tense. Right now, in whatever you are facing, God's grace is sufficient. It is enough for this moment. You may not have enough strength. You may not have enough faith. You may not have enough wisdom. But His grace is enough. And it is not just enough to get by — it carries His power. His power shows up most clearly in the places where you are most aware that you cannot do it on your own.

Prayer

Lord, Your grace is sufficient for me today. I stop trying to be strong on my own. Let Your power rest on me in my weakness.
