Day 7: Ask According to His Will

Notice what John puts first: we ask according to His will. The enemy wants us to project our own will so we will be disappointed when God doesn't obey us. Jesus doesn't hype up or lie about who He is and what He does — and neither should our expectations. So this week, ask someone if you can pray with them. Stop, talk, pray. Don't say “I will be praying for you” and walk away — actually pray right there.
