This Week's Big Idea

Prayer works — but not because we hype it up, and not because we always get what we asked for. Jesus doesn't lie about who He is and what He does. He answers prayer according to God's will, and the enemy wants us to project our own will so we will be disappointed when God doesn't obey us. Prayer starts when we slow down and see the person in front of you, it works because Jesus has authority behind it, and it holds when we trust God's promise before we see the answer.
