Day 6: Everyone Prayed, Everyone Preached

Scripture

And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus. After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness. — Acts 4:29-31 (NLT)

Acts 4:29-31

Notice who prayed: all the believers lifted their voices together. Peter did not pray over everyone — everyone prayed. And notice who was filled: they were ALL filled with the Holy Spirit. And who preached? They ALL preached with boldness. The anointing moved from two men to the entire church. The Holy Spirit equips the entire church, not just the pastors and the platform. You do not need permission to be bold — you need prayer. Pray with other believers, ask for boldness, and watch the room shake.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, fill me the way You filled them. Give me great boldness to preach Your word, and stretch out Your hand with healing power through the name of Jesus.
