Day 4: Snatched From the Fire

Am I a Failure? · With Authority · October 4, 2026

Scripture
And the Lord said to Satan, “I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.” — Zechariah 3:2 (NIV)
Zechariah 3:2

A burning stick is not impressive and it is not presentable — but it is still burning, which means the fire never finished its job. God snatched Jeshua out of the fire. That is not a statement about how good Jeshua was; it is a statement about how much God loves us. God snatched you out of the fire because He loves you. Whatever you survived, He pulled you out of it, and He did not let the fire get the final word.

Prayer

God, I was pulled out and I am still here. Thank You that my worst chapter is not my final sentence. Keep me out of the fire and let my life point toward Jesus.
