The enemy wants your identity to be failure — he is the Accuser, and he waits until you mess up so he can point his finger and get you to feel something about yourself. But God doesn’t deny where you have been: He takes the filthy clothes off and hands you new ones, exchanges your sin for His identity, and then restores you with authority to serve again. Your failure may be part of your story, but it does not get to become your name.
